XboxAchievements writes: Lords of the Fallen is not to be confused with Lords of the Fallen, which came out in 2014. That game, developed by Deck13, was not to be confused with Dark Souls, despite a litany of similarities. The new game, made by Hexworks, isn’t a sequel. It’s a second attempt at the same themes – the trouble being that those themes were, in themselves, second attempts to begin with.
