Lewis signs with Averett, Sports

Josh Lewis, a senior at Westover Christian Academy signed to play with Averett University. Lewis set a WCA record for points with 1,719 points and 766 rebounds. Josh also holds school records for blocks with 161, and 37 double doubles. Lewis led the Bulldogs to the 2022 VACA Championship and was named 2023 VACA Player of the Year and Division 3 Second team all-VISAA. Lewis was a four-year starter and led the Bulldogs to 4 straight VACA final four appearances and the first appearance at the VISAA State Tournament.
